We’ll get you started from the beginning, helping with reed selection, how to take care of your instrument, embouchure placement, and everything in between, so that you can comfortably play careless whisper on the saxophone, or any other song you might want to learn… Also did we mention? Your Teacher
Remi has been playing piano since the age of 6, learning how to play classical RCM, Jazz, and improvisation while taking lessons throughout his formative years. Eventually he began pursuing a Bachelors at McGill University in Tuba performance and music education with a focus on music instrument pedagogy/curriculum design, performing as a multi-instrumentalist with the Canadian Armed Forces, playing in embassies, government functions, churches, parades, and ceremonies. Subsequently, he found himself teaching at the Borden Military Academy of Music, teaching tuba, piano, musicianship, small ensemble, & theory. Having moved to the west coast, he is now focused on private studio teaching with a focus on piano and brass pedagogy. Currently, he continues to hone his craft and his interest in music, performing in multiple community bands/orchestras on the North Shore and Victoria on Vancouver Island alongside the likes of entertainment hall of fame award-winning composer and instrumentalist Bob Buckley, Tuba player of the Canadian Opera Company Sasha Johnson, and other outstanding performers.

No, this is way too long; don’t choose this option unless you’re ready to skyrocket into superstardom! If you do choose this, we’d probably try to turn it into two lessons a week!
